festive fayre!

£148.10 raised last night!

THANK YOU to everyone who made last night’s Festive Fayre a fantastic evening! To those who helped to organize, set up/pack up, brought and bought, managed stalls, passed out leaflets, sold cakes at the end in the cold – everything, you are magnificent! We raised £148.10, going to Rape Crisis’s helpline! (no small amount given that it was pretty quiet). More photos coming soon! This one is of Serena’s delicious tiramisu! (photo by Serena) x

Festive Fayre Today!

Friends,

The Festive Fayre is happening this evening! If you’re running a stall, set up is from 5pm. If you’re coming to join us with your loose change, the fayre is running from 6-9pm. We’ve got cakes, books, dvds, clothes, Zines, jewelry and mulled wine! And come and meet representatives from The Fawcett Society, The Feminist Library and Feminism in London Conference 2013.

Do join us and help us raise lots of money for Rape Crisis!

Festive Fayre Volunteers Needed!

The Women’s Campaign Festive Fayre is less than a week away! We will need volunteers on the day to help set up (arrange tables, put up decorations, price goods); hand out leaflets; run stalls; help with general tasks. All help is needed and really appreciated – whatever you can offer would be fantastic. Please fill in this very simple doodle doc to let me know your availability.

We also still need donations of used books/dvds/clothes/accessories, etc. Please drop these off at the Students’ Union office, room 455 (the room facing the bar). If you want to make sure someone will be there to take them, please e-mail me first, or e-mail me to arrange a pick-up.

If you bake or create, how about selling at the Fayre? We’re looking for:

Baked goods: cookies, cakes, muffins, etc.
Crafts
Zines

Please do join us! Stalls are free, we just ask that a minimum of 50% of your proceeds go to Rape Crisis. Or, you could donate them!
